RAY JORDAN WINE GUIDE 2016
Parish Lane pinot noir 2013 ($25)
This little producer makes some mighty impressive wines. This is a tidy young pinot noir with typical cherry and confectionery fruit characters balanced by a complementing damp earthiness. The tannins are firm and assertive. Oak is well weighted and the fleshy fruit flavoursome and long in the palate.

Parish Lane cabernet merlot 2012 ($25)
A supple and fruity-driven cabernet merlot offering terrific value. Red berry and light cedary with some plumper black fruits in there. The palate has a distinct minerally leafy thread yet the fruit is fully ripe and the oak tannin balance very good.
A lovely wine for the next few years.
