The Sum Rose 2015

The Sum Pinot Noir 2014

The Sum Pinot Noir 2015 ($22)

Smart little pinot noir for this price. Displays those neat cherry aromas on the nose with some vanillin oak woven in. The palate is soft and medium bodied but there is good tannin strength through the middle and a cut of acidity that keeps it focused. Nice spicy finish. Good wine, this.

Score: 91/100    Cellar: 3 years     BUY HERE

The Sum Shiraz 2013

The Sum Shiraz 2013 ($18)

Medium bodied smooth talking slick shiraz made for current drinking. Has a plush soft palate structure with fine understated tannins and a little oak. It’s spicy with a liberal sprinkle of white pepper. Lovely mix of plum and mulberry add substance to the palate. Just starting to develop a hint of leathery development which adds another dimension.

Score: 90/100    Cellar: 3 years     BUY HERE
