A fruity young chardonnay sparkling wine. Loads of creamy and slightly lemony fruit on the nose and palate. Has a good mid palate persistence through to a sustained finish. It’s an early drinking light and appealing sparkling wine.

3 Oceans Vita Novus Reserve shiraz 2013 ($40)

A ripe and juicy shiraz from vineyards in Frankland River and Margaret River. Generous palate with supple tannins and a decent hit of balancing oak. Has plenty of warm fruit which presents with a degree of opulence. Notes of coffee and savoury plum with a syrupy dark chocolate coating.

3 Oceans Vita Novus Reserve cabernet sauvignon 2013 ($40)

A smooth and well-appointed cabernet from Frankland River and Margaret River fruit. Blackcurrant and savoury plummy dark chocolate notes on the nose. The palate is seamlessly structured with fine tannins and slippery oak. Plush and poised through to a sustained finish. Handles the alcohol well.

3 Oceans Margaret River The Explorers cabernet sauvignon 2012 ($35)

There is a silky smooth elegance about this most stylish expression of Margaret River cabernet sauvignon. Scents of black olive and blackcurrant with a savouriness edging in. The palate is tightly wound with accurate fine tannins and fine grained oak defining the flavours through to the long finish. Has come along nicely in the past year.

The fruit is sourced from Frankland River and Margaret River. This is a seriously impressive shiraz combining the mid-palate opulence and density of Frankland with
the savoury edginess of Margaret River. Balanced and supremely poised with ripe tannins and fine grained oak in support. Rich and smooth with a seamlessly long finish.

3 Oceans The Rivers White Classic sauvignon blanc semillon 2015 ($16)

A really delicious blend of Frankland and Margaret River sauvignon blanc and semillon. It works very well and provides classic drinking for this style at a great price. Textural with creamy tropical fruit livened with a splash of tart citrus.

3 Oceans The Explorers chardonnay 2013 ($35)

This is a fine and quite restrained chardonnay delivered with a keen precision of medium-bodied fruit and tightly integrated oak. Light toastiness and citrus with a white peach influence is immediately appealing. The palate is fine and long in the mouth with a crisp acid finish. Starting to reach its best drinking zone now.

3 Oceans The Estates cabernet sauvignon merlot 2013 ($20)

Medium-bodied, fruit-driven cabernet blend with a subtle dab of oak and supporting fine tannins to create a beautiful wine for drinking over the next few years. Red
berry and light fruitcake richness with more substantial blackcurrant in the background. A touch of cedary oak adds a lift.

3 Oceans The Estates blanc de blancs 2013 ($25)

Impressive sparkling wine made from Frankland Riversourced chardonnay. So fine and  mooth in the mouth with deep and penetrating mid-palate flavours carried to a long finish. Slightly toasty with citrus and brioche on the palate and a touch of yeasty autolysis. Classy fizz here.
