Love the racy feel of this wine from the initial nose through to the passionfruit nd bright melon laden palate. Has a delicious zing with so much fruit intensity. A liberal splash of citrus juice adds a little sparkling to the palate. Touch of bath salts on the finish. Lovely early drinking wine.
This is a beautiful medium weight chardonnay displaying deep complexity through the nose ad palate. Aromas of grapefruit and light butterscotch with those mealy grapefruit nuances of the region. The palate is finely balanced with a pleasing persistence. Touch of gun flint on the finish adds a nice touch.
The aromatics benefit from the co fermentation with a small amount of the highly perfumed viognier. It also helps the tannin structure so that even on this medium body there is good structure. The oak and fruit combo works well with flavours of peppery black cherry a feature and a well presented and crafted wine.

Fire Gully chardonnay 2014 ($32)
Love the minerally and savoury characters of this terrific chardonnay. A trace of toasty oak and stone fruit with an edge of pineapple and white peach. The oak is
well managed and the fine crisp acid does its stuff to promote the long finish. Slightly restrained and poised through to its impressive finish.

Fire Gully shiraz 2012 ($32)
A ripe and soft shiraz with a splash of viognier that shows its musky apricot kernel characters on the nose especially. Smooth and textural with a mass of black cherry and dark juicy plum flavours finished with a little oak. Nicely balanced and poised.
