A punchy and super lively savvy brimming with tropical fruit, a dash of herbaceousness and a squeeze of lemon. It has good persistence through to the finish. Clean and minerally in the mouth.
Intense and deeply textured chardonnay. Aromas of custard apple and creamy stone fruit with a mealy grapefruit edginess. The palate is deep and layered with a seamless integration of fruit and oak. A touch of spice and a little citrus rounds out a good wine.
These mature vines are starting to punch out some impressively concentrated and deeply flavoursome fruit. Opens with a cedary and slightly savory aroma. The palate is more towards medium bodied but there’s lot happening in there. Savoury fruit with good tannin and oak integration. Seamless with a subtle dustiness.

All manner of goodies in here. Tropical fruits with nectarine and gooseberry and just a faint edge of grassiness. It’s vibrant and incredibly lively with a crunchy zippy finish supported by a lip-smacking acidity. Super current drinking at this price.

Knee Deep cabernet merlot 2013 ($24)
Such a beautiful expression of Margaret River’s famous red blend. Leafy blackcurrant with a hint of coffee bean and light cedar. Has terrific depth of fruit with chalky tannins and subtle oak in support. There is a delicious juicy fruit-driven character on the palate.
