Miles From Nowhere sauvignon blanc semillon 2016 ($18)

A punchy and quite racy white blend capturing plenty of zesty tropical fruit characters with an overlay of herbaceousness. The palate has a crisp acid and the fruit lifts to a clean fresh finish.

Score: 88/100    Cellar: Drink now.
Miles From Nowhere Best Blocks chardonnay 2015 ($32)

Controlled and well-presented chardonnay. A mix of peachy stone fruit with a layer of fig and subtle roasted cashew. The palate trikes a nice balance of oak and fruit with the finish long and pleasing. There’s a little minerally cereal-like character which adds complexity and intrigue.

Score: 90/100    Cellar: 5 years
