Preveli cabernet merlot 2012 ($25.95)

Another stylish expression of this classic Margaret River blend. Leafy tobacco-like characters on the nose with some bay leaf black currant nuances. The palate is seamless and classically defined with fine tannins and quality integrated oak. Sweet dark chocolate and black berry richness balanced by slightly chalky tannins. Nice wine.
