This excellent sparkling wine from chardonnay and pinot noir has spent 50 months on lees so is starting to show that autolysis character of meaty mealy biscuit. It’s an excellent wine with a deep and complete palate and an impressively long finish. This is a high class sparkling wine.
One of the best varieties from the Swan Valley and the one that got Sittella started many years ago. Tropical fruit with a little citrus tang. Clean and pure with a lively fresh palate that sings its persistent tune to a long finish. Little lick of lime completes the picture.
This is sourced from the Wilyabrup subregion. It is a seriously beautiful expression of the variety and the region. Deeply textured and concentrated tightly packed fruit. Nutty with a mealy grapefruit and brioche richness. The palate is expertly crafted with layers of intense flavour. Outstanding wine and a breakthrough for this variety and Sittella.
Ah this is why we drink Swan Valley shiraz. So delicious and beautifully distinctive It’s from a dry farmed old vine plot that pumps out some truly exceptional fruit that has been expertly capture inn the winemaking. Coffee grinds, dark chocolate and earthy savory plum flavors. So much happening. It’s just so yummy.
Lovely perfumed and exotic example of Margaret River cabernet. The aromas are all leaf red berry with a little tobacco and black olive complexity. The palate is supremely elegant and most stylish with a tightly knit weave of tannin and oak carrying the flavours effortlessly to that long controlled and quite precise finish. It’s still s tight yet there is a deep and impressive concentration of fruit in there. Another cracking wine.

Sittella Methode Traditionnelle pinot noir chardonnay 2009
The nose tells you immediately that this is a serious expression of sparkling wine. The complex nutty and creamy yeasty characters come from the extended time
on yeast lees. On the palate the rich steely fruit autolysis characters are clearly evident. Lovely mix of stone fruit, orange rind and cashew creates quite a palate. Based on Pemberton fruit which seems well suited to sparkling wine.

Sittella Wilyabrup Reserve chardonnay 2014
Clearly a most sophisticated and refined chardonnay from Wilyabrup in Margaret River. Aromas of tasty brioche and grapefruit with a light roasted cashew
influence. The oak and fruit combination on the palate is outstanding allowing the fruit to express itself fully. Tight, savoury minerality through the palate takes it to a
long finish. Balanced and perfectly integrated.

Sittella verdelho 2015
An excellent tropical fruit-laden verdelho from the heart of the Swan Valley, where it has consistently produced excellent examples of this variety. Plenty of fruit with a
neat thread of fine acid. It’s quite textural and generous through the palate and the finish is clean and sustained.

Sittella Coffee Rock shiraz 2013
Sourced from a single vineyard site in the Swan Valley.Loads of goodies in here from the first sniff. Aromas of chocolate and mocha with a smoky oak overlaying the
dark plum fruit. The palate is dense and super saturated with waves of lush fruit. It’s quite a statement of generosity from the Swan and will benefit from ageing.
