Amelia Park semillon sauvignon blanc 2016 ($22)

The beautiful fruit of this vintage has been expertly captured in this vibrant and completely alive expression of the white blend. Passionfruit and lime work from the deeper, tropical and ever-so-slightly grassy edges of the palate. Crisp and clean with a long finish. All tank fermented but the wild yeast adds some sassy character.
SCORE 92/100 CELLAR 3 Years

Amelia Park chardonnay 2015 ($29)

There is a degree of restraint in this classy chardonnay but the characters of meal and brioche with a little grapefruit and light toast reveal themselves with subtlety and understatement. The palate is beautifully crafted with a defining precision that carries it to a long finish. Lovely mouthfeel. A complete and polished wine.

Amelia Park cabernet merlot 2014 ($29)

This blend of cabernet and merlot really nails the style for a medium-term cellaring, totally pleasing red wine. Good depth of fruit supported with slightly grainy tannin and a lick of oak. The palate is so well balanced with the blackcurrant and fruit satsuma plum flavours bursting through to the long finish.
SCORE 93/100 CELLAR 8 years

Amelia Park Reserve cabernet sauvignon 2013 ($50)

Beautifully poised and expressive cabernet. The bouquet is all floral and cigar box with a touch of black olive. The palate is where it ratchets up a notch. Graphite and minerally ironstone threads through the tightly controlled burst of flavour intensity and drives to a sustained finish. It’s loaded with power, yet delivered with an effortlessness that is so appealing.
SCORE 96/100 CELLAR 12 years

Amelia Park Reserve shiraz 2013 ($50)

Best of the West 2017 – Shiraz
Seductive floral blueberry lift on the nose takes this excellent shiraz into another heady zone. It’s from Frankland River and those characteristic powdery graphite tannins are clearly evident. So lavish and smooth with the integration of oak and tannin superbly managed. Has a dry gravelly character that balances the sweet fruit of the palate.
