Driftwood Artifacts chardonnay 2015 ($30)

Another very good chardonnay from this small producer. The aromas are deeply complex with notes of custard apple, brioche and toasty melon. The palate is textured and intense with creamy stone fruit characters. Sustained finish.
SCORE 90/100 CELLAR 5 Years

Driftwood Artifacts cabernet sauvignon 2014 ($30)

Solid and quite robust cabernet with lots of very ripe fruit the dominant feature. Dark plum and ripe blackcurrant with a slightly chocolaty coffee grinds character. Lots happening in a wine that needs plenty of robust tucker.
SCORE 91/100 CELLAR 6 years
