Larrikins of Margaret River chenin blanc 2013 ($17)

A wine which shows the potential for chenin blanc to drink well for a number of years. This is still fresh and lively on the palate with a creamy tropical fruit character that’s livened with a little splash of citrus. It’s tangy and flavoursome and perfect for summer drinking.
SCORE 88/100 CELLAR 3 Years

Larrikins of Margaret River chardonnay 2013 ($23)

A well made chardonnay displaying plenty of stone fruit and nectarine character with a neat infusion of oak. The palate is intense and showing a little development to the stage where it is drinking right on the money. Nice long finish.
SCORE 89/100 CELLAR 3 years

Larrikins of Margaret River cabernet sauvignon 2012 ($23)

Medium-bodied cabernet. Crushed herbs and spices on the nose with minty red berry and violet characters. There’s a little bay leaf and black olive to finish. The palate is seamless and soft with a good oak and tannin balance. Best in the short term.
SCORE 87/100 CELLAR 3 years
