Plenty of soft and generous plummy fruit locked in here. Has a liqueur cherry character with a light touch of toasty oak. Spices and peppery influences lift the nose Score: 86/100 Best drinking: now. Alc: 12.5%

Exactly the sort of Chardy that one might expect from this range – pleasant, easy to drink, though on the simple side. Some citrus notes. A mid-length wine, which is fresh and more than acceptable. It does seem as though there might be a smidge of added acidity which does poke through, but overall, a summer pleaser. Score: 86/100 Best drinking: now. Alc: 12.5%
