Enticing medium straw in colour. Subtle aromas of citrus and peach. The palate is bursting with flavours of fresh pear and green apple and shows excellent fruit weight and length. The finish is clean and full flavoured.
Allegiance Wines has sourced this parcel of Pinot Grigio. This wine is an excellent example of the outstanding results possible, when an allegiance between growers and winemakers creates their best expression of the varietal and vintage. Drinking great now or cellar potential of 2-3 years.
A light but quite flavoursome pint grigio with distinctive characters of spicy pear on the nose and palate. Fine crisp acidity sustains the palate. Nice current drinking wine. Cellar: Drink now.
An easy summer quaffer. A simple style and without any great varietal definition, but in fairness, more than one might expect at this price point. Some pear notes and an intriguing confectionary touch. It does have an abrupt finish, but some pleasant flavours leading up to that. Score: 86/100 Best drinking: now. Alc: 12.5%
