Vibrant red purple in colour. Aromas of spice and white pepper. The palate is rich with black cherry and the tannins are silky smooth. The balanced integration of oak provides flavor and length.
Allegiance Wines has sourced this parcel of Shiraz. This wine is an excellent example of the outstanding results possible, when an allegiance between growers and winemakers creates their best expression of the varietal and vintage. Drinking great now or cellar potential of 4-5 years.
Plenty of soft and generous plummy fruit locked in here. Has a liqueur cherry character with a light touch of toasty oak. Spices and peppery influences lift the nose. Cellar: 3 years
A mix here of red and darker berries. There are some earthy notes along with raspberries and a hint of a confectionary character. Flavours are mostly upfront and the wine has moderate length. Not a complex style, but it certainly is quite gluggable. Ideal for a casual barbecue. Score: 88/100 Best drinking: now for 4 years. Alc: 14%
