Boy this is such a smooth and stylish example of Barossa shiraz. Lush and opulent with dark syrup shiraz loaded with liquir and dark plum with a decent hit of toasty oak. So dense and concentrated with great power with such elegance and refinement. Cellar: 15 years.
Serious intensity here. Dark berries, chocolate, black cherries. Leather notes. Fine tannins and impressive length. There is a reasonably high level of oak here – possibly more than some will enjoy, but others will love it. possibly a smidge over the top for me, but it is integrating well and will only get more and more exciting. Score: 94/100 Best drinking: many years. 15 years and then have a review. Alc: 14.5%
