Reviews: 94 points – Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
The gorgeous bouquet shows blackberry, dark plum, cocoa, black olive and cedar characters. It is beautifully weighted and concentrated on the palate, and displays excellent fruit purity as well as stylish oak infusion, brilliantly supported by silky texture and supple tannins. Opulent and delicious, and firmly structured at the same time.
94 points : Tony KeysThe nose was just right: gentle black fruit aromas, with some sweeter notes and just the hint of mystery that was hard to pin down. It didn’t ring a peal of bells, nor set the spine tingling, but it did caress and cuddle.
You just have to love Barossa shiraz like this. I’s more understated and elegant with spicy pepper fruit characters over the usual plummy and light coffee grounds mix. Spicy palate which is so velvety soft and smooth. Lovely wine. Cellar: 12 years
This is made from a special parcel of grapes and the quality shines through from the very first wafting of its aromas. A really enticing nose. Chocolate, rose petals, cloves, aniseed, black fruits. The tannins are soft but the length is serious. Supple. This is a delicious wine, impossible not to like it a lot. I found something different every time I looked. Great future.
