Continues the excellent recent form of chardonnays from this vineyard. All wild ferments with further time on lees to build complexity. It works well but doesn’t compromise the fine angular lines of what is a modern expression of the variety with plenty of Margaret River power. So poised and lively. Impressive. SCORE 95/100 CELLAR 7 yea
Richer style of chardonnay out of Margaret River. Straw-yellow in colour. Rich and slippery-smooth with peach and nectarine flavours sizzling though the palate, backed by limey acidity and bolstered by toasty oak. No shortage of deliciousness." 91 Pts - CAMPBELL MATTINSON, APRIL 20
AUSTRALIAN WINE COMPANION 2016
"From the oldest vines on the estate, hand-picked, whole bunch-pressed, wild fermented. 'Underlying spicy new oak'. Has what it takes: vibrant white peach, nectarine and grapefruit, neatly balanced/integrated French oak, and squeaky/grippy (in the best sense) acidity."
