2018 was a vintage that potentially will go down in the history books as one of the greatest ever in the region. Aravina is blessed with the finest Chenin vines planted and this wine has been a pleasure to make. Bright fresh and tightly bound bunches were harvested in the cool of the night in late
February when flavor, sugar and acid were at their harmonious
best. The clean and crisp juice was fermented at low temperatures in a stainless tank to maximize aroma and flavor retention. Lightly fined with organic products we hope this wine will continue the long heritage of great Chenin from the estate
Pale gold with green hues.
Lifted fresh lime, green apple and hints of spicy mandarin.
A refreshing wine with generous flavors of honeydew melon
and fresh pineapple. Taught acidity balances the wine to
provide a fresh and vibrant experience.
To be enjoyed now and cellar with confidence for 10+ years.

Best of the West 2016 - chenin blanc Not your usual chenin blanc here. This one has had extended lees contact and time in older French oak creating texture, mouthfeel and new layers of flavour complexity. The aromas are an enticing mix of stone fruit and bright lemon and pear, while the palate delivers a creamy, slightly nutty flavour. Most appealing impressive expression of the variety.
