Brash Vineyard Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Selected from our single vineyard site in the Yallingup Hills of Margaret River.

Mulberries, cassis and graphite aromas greet on the nose, with hints of cedar and violets. Entry is bright and pure with flavours of blueberries and cocoa nib gently resting on a tight backbone of fine-grain tannin and soft acidity. The finish is persistent and elegant with yet more violets and cassis left to linger.

This wine is a wonderful expression of Margaret River cabernet.

Trophy Winner Australian and New Zealand Boutique Wine Awards August 2017

Very good ripeness, young, medium bodied but well structured with cassisy flavours and soft tannins – a complete cabernet.

Gold Australian and New Zealand Boutique Wine Awards 2017

Comes off a single vineyard up on Yallingup Hills. These vines now have a bit of age on them and it shows. This is a lovely cabernet. It’s so well balanced and poised with the integration of fine chalky tannins, super-fine oak and smooth intense fruit creating a polished glossy palate. Still reasonably tight but there is a sweet fruit in there. It will cellar for a number of years.

Wine Guide 2016

This is a really attractive cabernet sauvignon from what was the old Woodside Valley Estate vineyard in the Yallingup region. Lovely blackcurrant and understated black olive aromatics with a touch of violet and dark chocolate. Fine grainy and slightly sinewy tannins with perfectly infused oak. An elegant and poised wine of great promise.
