Liquorice spice, dark chocolate, raspberry conserve and earthy dusty aromas combine to offer perfect varietal intensity. Concentrated fruit sweetness with brooding fruit depth and power, the palate is coasted by savoury spicy French oak and chalky tannins. Overall, a beautiful medium bodied wine with 4 to 6 year cellaring potential.

Wine Guide 2016
A ripe and generous merlot from this very good year. Oodles of fruit cake and blackberry aromas with a spicy licorice chocolate mix. On the palate, which is soft and generously proportioned, you get a lovely earthy dark fruit character supported by firmish tannins and fine grained understated oak. A feature is the chalky tannin character which helps the focus to the long finish. CELLAR 5 years
