Wine Guide 2016

A ripe and generous merlot from this very good year. Oodles of fruit cake and blackberry aromas with a spicy licorice chocolate mix. On the palate, which is soft and generously proportioned, you get a lovely earthy dark fruit character supported by firmish tannins and fine grained understated oak. A feature is the chalky tannin character which helps the focus to the long finish. CELLAR 5 years
