Evans & Tate Classic sauvignon blanc 2014

Enjoyed by wine lovers who appreciate wines from one of Australia’s most prestigious wine-producing regions, the Evans & Tate Classic range embodies the essence of Margaret River’s desirable lifestyle where the weather is perfect, the people are relaxed and the sound of surf is never far away. Consistent and reliable, wine drinkers have come to trust the reputation of Evans & Tate Classic implicitly. This consistency in style, coupled with a global trend towards lighter, more refreshing wine, has led to the expansion of the range which now includes Classic Chardonnay, Classic Semillon Sauvignon Blanc (White), Classic Cabernet Merlot, Classic Shiraz and Classic Pink Moscato.

Varietal: Sauvignon Blanc
Colour: Very pale and in brilliant condition – classic youthful Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc.
Aroma: Lovely pungency and lift as a result from the mild 2014 Margaret River summer. Passionfruit, fig, spiced apple and honeydew melon aromas fill the nose. A subtle grassy note adds the stamp of Sauvignon Blanc from Margaret River.
Palate: An intensely flavoured palate with juicy acidity. Passionfruit, fig and melon drive the palate which is superbly balanced and long.

Winemaker: Matt Byrne
