Evans & Tate Metricup Road semillon sauvignon blanc 2014

INTRO
Love this little wine. Plenty of punchy vibrant fruit on the nose and the palate. Passionfruit and a lemon citrus edge. Clean with a slightly textured creamy palate. Perfect for current drinking.
CELLAR 3 years WINE GUIDE 2016 RAY JORDAN

Colour: Brilliant. Very pale straw with a fresh green rim.

Aroma: Striking aromas of gooseberry , lemon grass, lime leaf and passion fruit pulp overlaid with lanolin, fresh toast and spices from partial wild barrel fermentation on solids.

Palate: Fresh with great flavor intensity and length and lovely refreshing, juicy acidity. Texture and integration is a feature of the wine from partial wild barrel fermentation on solids followed by time spent maturing on yeast lees.

Winemaker: Matt Byrne
Last Tasted: 19-03-2015
Peak Drinking: The wine provides excellent flavour right now but will reach its peak in 2016+
