Vermentino is a Mediterranean white grape variety with its origins being from the island of Sardinia.
In its traditional home, it makes fine and spicy dry white wine suitable for early drinking but can also be cellared in the short term to reveal a more toasty expression.
The palate is fine, crisp and has a mouth watering expression that would be the perfect partner to Mediterranean style anti-pasto foods.

Wine Guide 2016
This is made from the Italian variety vermentino which I have always believed to be an ideal white variety for Australian cuisines. This is typical of the variety with a lean structure, light but distinctive flavour of spices and dried herbs. It’s crisp and fresh with a hint of pear on the finish. Nice drinking. CELLAR 3 years
