Moojelup Farm vermentino 2015 ($20)

Punchy fruit aromas hinting at melon, muscat grapes and cut grass. Flavours are almost floral and musky, with a fresh melon burst and crisp lingering acidity. Barrel fermented in old oak.

Wine Guide 2016

Interesting and impressive take on this variety. It’s been fermented in old oak which adds considerably to the texture without any noticeable oak influence. The fruit retains its spicy grassy freshness, while the palate offers good fruit richness held with a delicate acidity. Very nice wine for current drinking. SCORE 91/100 CELLAR 3 years
