A select block of Estate sauvignon blanc was hand picked, chilled, then whole bunched pressed. Fermented in new and aged French oak plus stainless steel barrels with natural wild yeast, creating a distinctive texture and individuality. Aromatic honeysuckle and lantana integrate with lemon curd and a layer of nutmeg, with a persistent length.

“Hand-picked , whole bunch-pressed, wild-fermented in new and used oak and stainless steel barrels. A wham bam, thank you ma’am bou-quet, the new oak, wild yeast barrel-ferment leaping out of the glass : the palate is, comparatively, less pushy, but still energetic. Just a little too revealing in its oaky allure”.
Wine Guide 2015
“Punchy and vibrant sauvignon blanc that will knock your socks off with its intensity. Tropical fruit notes with a faint hint of herbaceous-ness. Plenty of tart passionfruit and a little lifted citrus tang to com-plete the finish. Nice wine in the short term with a fine lingering acid adding to its refreshing drinkability.”
