Ken Gargett

A lovely dense, layered Cabernet with dark berry notes, cassis, dry herbs and cherries. Nicely balanced and a wine with persistence. It drinks well now, but it will age superbly. This is really amazing value, well in the running for the best value Cab in the country. Shiraz might do well in this region, but there is no question that Cabernet is king. Score: 93/100 Best drinking: a decade and more. Alc: 14%
