St Aidan sauvignon blanc semillon 2016 ($20)

Appealing crunchy and quite juicy blended white with a load of grassy tropical character on the nose and palate. A decent splash of lemon tang adds to the picture to create a wine ideal for summer drinking. Zippy fine acidity sustains the finish.
SCORE 90/100 CELLAR 2 Years

St Aidan chardonnay 2014 ($28)

The chardonnays from St Aidan have been pretty smart in recent years. This is another that hits the mark. It’s creamy with a light stone fruit and edge of citrus to balance. It’s had some time on yeast lees to introduce texture and palate richness. Works well.
SCORE 90/100 CELLAR 3 years

St Aidan cabernet sauvignon 2013 ($32)

This is a soft and generous full-bodied cabernet delivering stacks of rich palate weight and intense fruit concentration. There’s a mineral edge to the ripe tannins and the oak adds a little further complexity. Like the leafy black olive and tobacco character. Nicely balanced wine.
SCORE 89/100 CELLAR 5 years
