RAY JORDAN WINE GUIDE 2016
Sunnyhurst Barrel Aged chardonnay 2012 ($28)
A wine that has come together rather well with a little time in the bottle after its aged in barrel phase. Has a nutty and creamy stone fruit aroma which carries through into the palate. Tight and crisp acidity sustains the focus through to the long finish. A tidy wine of intensity and power.

Sunnyhurst Bastard Rock cabernet shiraz 2010 ($22)
Okay, the first thing is that you make sure you decant. The pungent rustic aromas blow off quickly to reveal some beautiful leathery black fruits within. It’s generous and soft with plush tannins and fleshy fruit. It’s a good combination of varieties that consistently delivers excellent wine in this country.
