RAY JORDAN WINE GUIDE 2016
Green Door Flamenco rosé 2015 ($16.50)
Brilliant crimson pink colour. The nose is enticing and highly perfumed. Scented red berry with a little cherry distinction. The light-bodied palate has a little sweet fruit
confectionery raspberry in the middle but the finish is deliciously dry with a crisp acid.

Green Door El Toro tempranillo 2014 ($25)
Ah, no prizes for guessing this is a Spanish variety. Super concentrated and plush tempranillo fruit is the result of picking, basket pressing and sympathetic use of French oak. Lovely rich mouthfeel with loads of savoury red fruit flavours. Really nails this style and variety.

Green Door Spanish Steps grenache shiraz mourvedre 2013 ($18.95)
A medium-bodied expression of this classic combination. Soft, supple and slightly sweet fruit flavours balanced by a nice savoury oak influence. The tannins are slightly chalky and the oak underplayed deliberately to let the fruit take full rein. Subtle confectionery-like flavours work rather well.
