Winery and Vineyard

Brygon Reserve Wines are vintnered amongst the vineyards and glorious, soft rolling hills of Margaret River, some 300 kilometres south of the Western Australian capital, Perth.

The winery is located on a 7.5 hectare vineyard (first plantings were in 1998) and employ world leading, state-of-the-art technology alongside time honored and traditional wine making skills.

The Margaret River region is well regarded internationally as a super-premium wine growing region.

With a Mediterranean climate, a landscape of gentle valleys and the influence of the Indian Ocean, Margaret River is renowned for its excellence in producing both quality red and white wines.

At Brygon Reserve Wines we use state of the art technology and traditional wine making methods that are seamlessly integrated. Every stage of production is fastidiously computer monitored and sensory evaluated. Stringent temperature controls are maintained throughout production, along with anaerobic handling of white wines, barrel fermentation and the careful maturation of red and white wine in temperature controlled barrel storage.

Barrel fermented wines are aged up to eighteen months in French and American oak to ensure seamless integration of oak and maximum complexity.

Brygon Reserve Bin 8888 cabernet sauvignon 2015 ($25)

Loads of ripe cabernet infused with toasted coffee and deep cedar oak. The blackcurrant plummy fruit is impressive. It’s medium bodied with good structure of chalky tannins and well-managed oak. Smooth seamless palate
SCORE 90/100 CELLAR 8 Years

Brygon Reserve Bruce shiraz 2015 ($25)

Pure essence of shiraz in this most impressive example of what can be done with this variety in Margaret River. A beautiful mix of dark chocolate and black fruits with some spicy savoury notes working through it. The palate is supple and smooth, with the tannin and oak duo working well together.
SCORE 91/100 CELLAR 5 years

Brygon Reserve Third Wheel Reserve cabernet shiraz merlot 2014 ($30)

An elegant and stylish blend of these three varieties. Lots of red fruits balanced with some chalky tannins and vanillin oak. There’s a distinct fruit lift of cherry on the nose with traces of earthy rose petal. A neatly balanced wine.
SCORE 89/100 CELLAR 6 years
