About Fishbone

Fishbone is a Margaret River wine producer, with a cellar door boasting award-winning regional wines and authentic Japanese cuisine.

The Fishbone, our symbol, represents our philosophy of winemaking – stripped back, raw quality, with a focus on sourcing the best Western Australian fruit, nurtured from vine to glass.

VINEYARD

Fishbone grows and sources fruit from select vineyards throughout the Margaret River, Geographe and Great Southern regions.

Working closely with our growers, Stuart’s stripped back approach has him very hands-on in the vineyard, ensuring varietal expressive wines, typical of their regions. This understanding and attention to quality in the vineyard is reflected in the wines.

Fishbone sauvignon blanc semillon 2017 ($19)

Beautifully bracing and refreshing SBS that hits all the right notes through its crisp, lip-smacking finish. Tropical fruits and a citrus tang combine to deliver all you want in this style.
SCORE 89/100 CELLAR 2 Years

Fishbone tempranillo 2016 ($35)

A medium-bodied and fleshy take on this Spanish variety. Spicy and savoury notes on the nose with hints of raspberry and cherry. The palate is a dusty savoury thing with fine sinewy tannin threaded into the supple fruit.
SCORE 88/100 CELLAR 4 years

Fishbone cabernet sauvignon merlot 2015 ($35)

A well-constructed cabernet blend. Leafy blackcurrant fruit on the nose with a cedary oak influence. The medium to full-bodied palate packs in some tidy fruit intensity with the tannin and oak combination holding the line to a good finish. Has a savoury tobacco-like finish supported by sinewy tannins
SCORE 89/100 CELLAR 5 years
