Zarephath Single Vineyard Riesling 2016 ($30)

The cool climes of the Porongurups are so good for this lighter style of Riesling. It has such a wonderful purity and pristine quality about it. It’s spicy with a lemon zest and light lime character. It’s finely balanced with a lingering precise palate. Bone dry and very long.
SCORE 92/100 CELLAR 6 years

Zarephath chardonnay 2013 ($30)

A lighter-bodied chardonnay reflecting the site within the Porongurups. Creamy savoury stone fruit with a white peach dominance on the nose. There’s some nice citrus and nectarine edges to it. The palate is deep with good juicy intensity. Sustained finish.
SCORE 88/100 CELLAR 2 years

Zarephath Single Vineyard pinot noir 2015 ($35)

A substantial pinot noir showing so much depth and fruit concentration but delivered with typical pinot refinement and style. Aromas of spicy cherry and darker plum with a dab of raspberry confection. The palate is deep and lavishly textured with a firm spine of ripe chalky tannins. A little savoury edge completes the picture of a real step up for Zarephath with this variety.
SCORE 93/100 CELLAR 6 years
